Summary

 

The Machine down resource will be responsible for driving end to end Machine down activities from Request for quotation to delivery assurance; Ensure the entire operational execution from Order to Delivery for Machine Down orders including finding alternate sourcing when needed and quickest delivery route. This function requires 7/7 availability and working after office hours as/when required / on a rotation basis.

 

Working Pattern:

Rotational shifts:

Week 1: 10:30 – 19:30

Week 2: 08:30 – 17:00

 

Standby & Weekend Coverage (Rotational Basis):

Public Holidays: 13:00 – 19:00 (remote standby)

Weekends: Saturday: 13:00 – 18:00 (remote standby)

Sunday: 13:00 – 17:00 (remote standby)

 

-Standby duties are fully remote, allowing you to remain at home or any suitable location while ensuring availability.

 

Important to note: During weeks with the 08:30 – 17:00 shift, you will not be required to cover weekend standby. During weeks with the 10:30 – 19:30 shift, you will be part of the weekend standby rotation

What will be your responsibilities?

 

Sourcing and procurement

  • End to end request from customers based on strict execution TAT
  • Receive request for quote at any time from direct customers.
  • Process formal quotation as required and as per set execution TAT
  • Source and secure the most appropriate multimodal logistics solutions
  • Provide alternative solutions for any unavailability occurrence at main OEM 

 

Governance/ communication

  • Coordinate flow of information from supplier, service provider, internal stakeholders to customer at all times for clear expectations
  • Escalate any off-target situation for management decision

 

Logistics

  • Process appropriate transport documentation as required on time as per set execution TAT
  • Source and secure the most appropriate multimodal logistics solutions

 

Invoice management

  • Ensure that all suppliers and service providers invoices are treated on time

 

Timing

  • Ensure business coverage for a minimum 45 Hr/week per set roster.

Who are we looking for?

 

Education & Qualification:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics / Sales & Purchasing


Experience:

  • Experience in Supply Chain: 2 years
  • Experience in parts supply chain operations is an advantage
  • Fluent in written & spoken English & French
