We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Waiter to join our Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing prompt, professional, and personalized service while ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and seat guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the guest dining experience.
  • Set up and prepare assigned stations according to operational standards before each service period.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, promotions, hotel facilities, and special events.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and inquiries.
  • Promote menu items and special offers through effective upselling techniques.
  • Present bills accurately and ensure proper processing of guest payments.
  • Ensure all guest consumption is correctly recorded and charged.
  • Handle minor guest concerns professionally and escalate matters when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of work areas at all times.
  • Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Participate actively in training sessions, briefings, and departmental meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service delivery.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • School Certificate (SC) or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field will be an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as a Waiter, Food & Beverage Assistant, or in a similar role within a hotel, resort, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good command of English and French; additional languages will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent grooming standards and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
