Job Description
The Senior Operations Officer supports the Transport Executive in supervising daily vehicle services operations and ensuring smooth coordination of fleet-related activities. The role is also responsible for supporting business development initiatives through cross-selling, upselling, and contributing to the acquisition of new clients and business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Supervise daily fleet operational
activities and ensure operational continuity.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance,
repairs, servicing, and fitness schedules.
- Monitor fuel card utilisation and
ensure operational compliance.
- Ensure all operational and fleet
documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Escalate operational risks,
incidents, and service disruptions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate vehicle registration,
insurance renewals, road tax, and fuel card allocation.
Supplier & Contractor Management
- Coordinate
and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, garages, and service
providers.
- Broaden
and optimise the supplier base to improve operational efficiency and
competitiveness.
- Create
synergies across suppliers and clients by identifying opportunities for
preferential rates and value-added partnerships.
Reporting & Administration
- Manage billing and reporting
activities across all business units within Vehicle Services.
- Assist in the preparation of
operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Administer, monitor, and ensure
proper governance of Key2 operational processes and workflows.
- Conduct monthly operational meetings
with clients and ensure proper follow-up on action plans and service
performance.
People Management & Training
- Supervise Operations Officers and
provide operational guidance and support.
- Provide onboarding, guidance, and
training to new joiners.
- Support knowledge sharing and
continuous operational improvement initiatives.
Business Development & Continuous Improvement
- Support business development
initiatives and identify opportunities for new value-added services.
- Contribute to service enhancement,
operational optimisation, and customer experience improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Diploma
in Operations, Logistics, Transport, or related field.
- Minimum
3 years’ operational experience.
- Strong
organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and operational systems.
