TRAINEE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

We are looking for motivated and ambitious graduates to join our Industrial Engineering & Continuous Improvement team and contribute to exciting projects that improve productivity, quality and operational excellence across our manufacturing operations.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a Trainee Industrial Engineer, you will work alongside experienced Industrial Engineers and Continuous Improvement professionals and gain hands-on experience in:

Continuous Improvement

• Participating in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Supporting waste reduction and process optimization initiatives.
• Participating in Kaizen workshops and improvement activities.

Data Analysis & Problem Solving

• Collecting and analysing production data.
• Monitoring operational performance indicators.
• Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Preparing reports and presentations for management.

Industrial Engineering

• Conducting time and motion studies.
• Supporting line balancing and workforce planning exercises.
• Assisting with workstation and factory layout improvements.
• Learning productivity measurement and capacity planning techniques.

Exposure to Multiple Manufacturing Operations

• Fabric Manufacturing (Knitting, Dyeing and Finishing)
• Garment Manufacturing
• Operational Excellence Projects
• Manufacturing Systems and Technologies

Regional Exposure

• Participate in projects across Mauritius and Madagascar.
• Learn best practices from different manufacturing environments.
• Work with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in:
• Industrial Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Production & Operations Management
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Or related disciplines
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
