Job Description
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-conditioning and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and associated systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and control system faults and malfunctions.
- Install, replace, and repair defective or damaged components, equipment, and accessories.
- Perform calibration, adjustment, and testing of thermostats, control panels, sensors, and other HVAC control systems.
- Monitor and maintain ventilation equipment and controls to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
- Clean and service condensers, evaporators, blowers, filters, coils, belts, motors, and related components.
- Inspect equipment regularly and recommend necessary repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
- Assist in the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of new air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures while carrying out all work activities.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and other departments as required to ensure effective maintenance and project execution.
- Perform any other duties related to HVAC maintenance and operations as assigned by Management.
