About the role:
As Security
Support Analyst, you are working in the core of our Security Operations team
responsible to perform analysis on various technical cybersecurity issues and
to continuously improve and maintain our cyber defences. Additionally, you will
develop and maintain expertise in a wide variety of technology and security
platforms supporting our multitude of datacenters, clouds and workplace
environments servicing SD Worx in over 26 countries.
Which tasks can you expect?
- Develop and maintain expertise
in a wide variety of technology platforms and threat vectors by ensuring
daily monitoring and analysis of security logs for security components.
Optimize alerting & triage based on a wide variety of sources. Work
with SIEM/EDR/NDR/XDR tooling.
- Provide expert cybersecurity
support to SD Worx internal users and contracted personnel in the areas of
security controls, configuration management, certificate &
cryptographic device management, privileged access management (CyberArk)
etc.
- Perform technical analysis on a
wide range of cybersecurity issues, with a focus on network activity, host
activity, and data.
- Assess cyber
indicators/observables for technical relevance, accuracy, and potential
value/risk/reliability in monitoring systems. Recommend detection and
prevention/mitigation signatures and actions as part of a layered
defensive strategy leveraging multiple capabilities and data types.
- Execute & improve standard
operating procedures & SOC playbooks, perform incidence response and
assist in computer forensics activities. Capture lessons learned to avoid
recurrence & advise other teams on security best practices and
vulnerability mitigation.
- Participation in an on-call
rotation including nights/weekends.
What do you have to offer?
Technical
Competencies:
- An IT related bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of
experience in IT Security or IT administration
- Fundamental understanding of
Active Directory / Entra ID administration, IP networks and security
tooling such as EDR, NDR, password management
- Powershell scripting experience
is a plus
- Microsoft (or equivalent)
certificates are a plus.
- Security related certifications
such as CompTIA Network+, CySA, or CEH are a plus
Desired
Experience in Cybersecurity:
- You are familiar with the
foundations of security operation concepts and practices, and you are
curious to learn more in this fast-changing field.
- Any security certificate is a
plus, ideally the candidate brings more extended knowledge in at least one
field related to Cyber Security (e.g. privileged access management or
certificate automation tooling).
- Firewall / WAF knowledge is a
plus.
- Exposure with security tools and
technologies (not limited to: EDR, XDR, proxy, encryption, vulnerability
management, etc.).

orderly, methodical and logical approach.
- You have exposure to agile way
of working.
- Proficient in English language
