Job Description

Our client in the financial industry is looking for an Accounts Clerk

 

Main responsibilities:

 

            Will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner

            Preparing and compiling financial information for finance team as per guidance from staff

            Bookkeeping and preparing reconciliations as and when required

            Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts pack as and when required

            Assist in the audit process of both subsidiaries and Group

            Reviewing and cross checking of schedules relating to our monthly financial reporting process

            Compilation of information for Group reporting purposes

            Preparing analysis for management and senior staff

            Assist in the budgeting process/preparing budget information for management

            Provide assistance on ongoing task at hand and any other administrative duties that may be appropriate to the Finance department

            Liaising effectively with key BU contacts to build strong relationships and improve the quality of the information produced

            Enquire on matters requiring attention

            Any other cognate and admin duties

 

Qualifications and experience

            Minimum ACCA LEVEL 1 or HSC with Accounting

            Previous work experience will be considered an advantage.

            Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
