Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Manager in reviewing,
development, implementation and monitoring the group’s occupational risk and
resilience aspects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Control
· Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
· Analyze safety data and recommend solutions to improve safety performance.
· Conduct safety training sessions for employees to increase their awareness of safety issues.
2. Administration
· Generate statistics to management in relation to incidents, injuries or any other health and safety hazards.
· Prepare and present reports on incidents and violations and determine causes
3. Risk Assessment
· Assist in conducting regular risk assessment in all departments, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
· Identify potential hazards and determine ways to reduce risks
· Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and recommend corrective actions
4. Training and Education
· Assist in identify, design and deliver occupational risk training, activities and programs to manager and employees.
· Help in educating employees and stakeholders on occupational risk and resilience policies and procedures.
· Assist in providing ongoing training in regards to new or updated policies to all the employees.
5. Policies and Procedures
· Support the development of the occupational risk and resilience policies and programs.
· Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
6. Others
· Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Qualifications Required
• 3 years of proven experience in a similar
role.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours)
· In-dept knowledge of H&S legislations and procedures.
· Experience in writing repots and policies for H&S.
· Strong communication skills.
· Possess an investigation mind.
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
