Job Description
Prepare and cook meals according to hotel recipes and standards.
Handle late-night room service orders and special guest requests.
Prepare ingredients and mise en place for breakfast and the following day's operations.
Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Receive and store food supplies properly during the night shift, if required.
Minimize food waste and control stock usage.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and report any maintenance issues.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Support other kitchen sections and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
