Job Description

  • Prepare and cook meals according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Handle late-night room service orders and special guest requests.
  • Prepare ingredients and mise en place for breakfast and the following day's operations.
  • Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Receive and store food supplies properly during the night shift, if required.
  • Minimize food waste and control stock usage.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
  • Support other kitchen sections and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
