Since 1983, Sotramon has been offering its services to major sectors namely the sugarcane, textile, agro, oil and gas sectors in Mauritius, the Indian Ocean region and on the African continent. Boasting a wide variety of high quality services from engineering, heavy metal workshop fabrication, site erection and hiring of cranes, Sotramon offer quick response so as to meet tight deadlines and delivery on time to their clients’ satisfaction.

Sotramon are specialized in the following sectors:

• construction and maintenance of major power plants in the region

• heavy structural steel fabrication and erection,

• high pressure piping welding and erection

• lagging and cladding fabrication and installation

Sotramon has a covered workshop of approximately 1200m² . The company is equally equipped with specialized machinery such as hydraulic guillotine, press brake, two OHTC of 10 tonnes capacity each, and an ESAB plasma cutting machine.

The company additionally has a fleet of mobile and crawler cranes ranging from a capacity of 5 to 140 tons. Besides, the fleet is also available for hire for short or long period depending on clients’ requirements.
