Welfare Officer

The United Basalt Products Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic Welfare Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Welfare initiatives

•  Propose and implement all welfare initiatives for the Group, with an aim to foster a collaborative, engaging workforce and constructive relationships
• Develop, deliver and evaluate welfare activities that support Management initiatives
• Support company culture through a defined and structured welfare calendar activities
• Ensure cost effectiveness of the welfare initiatives
• Collaborate closely with other departments to promote and organize all events
• Oversee the wellness unit “ Cellule de Bien-être” and continuously promote its services
• Coordinate employee focus groups to complement engagement surveys

HR Operations

•  Manage the employee relations for sections within responsibility
• Provide support to managers/supervisors on disciplinary issues
• Coordinate activities of the “comité d’entreprise”

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or Management or an equivalent qualification, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in Ms Office and knowledge of Sicorax Human Resource Management is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise effectively at different levels
• Excellent organizational skills is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and French
• Flexible, pro-active and able to adapt agilely
• ‘Can Do’ attitude is a must
• Valid driving license is desirable
