Exchange Lounge, situated Ground Floor, 7 Exchange Square, Wall Street, Ebene, is looking for a friendly, attentive, and professional Waiter to join its team.
Exchange Lounge is an upscale lounge restaurant and bar designed to provide an intimate, relaxed environment where guests can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a curated selection of light bites.
As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all guests are satisfied with their meals. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests, providing them with menus and answering any questions about the menu or specials.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner, ensuring correct orders and proper presentation.
- Ensure that guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience, checking in regularly and providing any additional service as needed.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a calm, professional manner.
- Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset tables for the next guests.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including giving change and handling credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for all guests.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth service flow.
- Assist in restocking supplies and keeping dining area inventory up to date.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Provide recommendations on food and beverage items when needed and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to describe them to guests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
