Video Editor

The Video Editor will create visually compelling and engaging videos that highlight the natural beauty and unique features of La Vallée Des Couleurs Nature Park, as well as the experiences of visitors enjoying our activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Briefing and Planning:

• Plan and organize video production within deadlines.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project goals, key messages, and specifications.
• Review shooting script and raw footage to create a shot decision list.

2.Editing Tasks:

• Trim footage and assemble sequences to ensure continuity and coherence.
• Integrate music, dialogue, graphics, and special effects.

3.Post-Production:

• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
• Stay updated on editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

4.Equipment Handling:

• Handle video equipment and assignments carefully.
• Be proficient with Nikon cameras.

Education:

• BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, Video Editing, Media, or a related field.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a video editor.
• Proficiency with digital technology and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video and photo editing abilities.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
• Strong storytelling abilities and creative thinking.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to create engaging content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok).
• Basic web editing, design, and copywriting skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Requirements:

• Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Understanding of codecs, exporting, transcoding, and converting video files.
• Experience in balancing audio, color correction, and fine-tuning cuts.

Organizational Skills:

• Strong media management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work both as part of a team and independently.
