C-Care is currently looking for a Trainer & Facilitator, based at Corporate Office, to support the development, and enhance the quality of clinical and/or non-clinical skills across the organisation.
Reporting to the People Development and Engagement of C-Care, the selected candidate will be responsible to provide ongoing learning opportunities and facilitate knowledge and skill development of clinical and/or non-clinical staff to meet professional standards and ensure the highest level of patient care.
What you will be doing:
- Facilitate ongoing learning opportunities for clinical and/or non-clinical staff to meet professional standards and improve their skills and knowledge
- Ensure that new staff members receive the necessary training and development to be able to work effectively in a healthcare environment
- Develop and implementing training programs that align with the organization's policies and standards
- Conduct regular competency assessments and audits to ensure that staff members meet the required standards
- Utilize various training methodologies, techniques, and tools to engage and support learners
- Develop practical exercises and simulations to provide hands-on practice to new and existing employees
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 5 years post registration clinical experience as a Medical Officer or a Registered Nurse or 5 years’ experience in a similar training role would be an advantage
- A demonstrated ability to provide professional / clinical education
- Experience in teaching the adult learner with sound knowledge of adult learning theory and ability to present material to differing levels of base knowledge of novice to professional
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal skills and soft skills
