The Telephone Operator is responsible for managing and directing phone calls, assisting customers or clients, and providing exceptional service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Route calls to appropriate departments or personnel based on the caller’s needs.
- Provide clear and accurate information to callers or redirect them to the correct contact.
- Assist callers with inquiries, concerns, or service requests, ensuring a positive experience.
- Record and relay messages accurately and promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date call logs and communication records.
- Operate and maintain telephone systems, including multi-line phones and voicemail systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues.
Candidate's Profile:
- NC3 Front Office or any other similar qualifications.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English and French.
- Previous experience in a customer service or telephone handling role preferred.
