Technician – Laptops

Job Purpose The job incumbent will be responsible for diagnosis and repair of laptops and perform tasks to ensure that equipment operate as per established standards and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose faulty equipment and ensure repair and perform general testing
• Ensure to cascade to the supervisor complex interventions or any issue affecting progress of repair
• Ensure timely updating of Service Orders on ERP system
• Liaise with customer service department on technical matters for prompt feedback to customers

Profile

• City and Guilds Certificate or MITD NTC 2 certificate in Communication Electronics
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in servicing and repairs of laptops
• Knowledge in mobile phone repairs would be an advantage
• Be a good team player with the ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
