We are actually searching for experienced Technical Support & Project Coordinator for generators.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To follow on projects and the after sales activities of the generator business working closely with the B.U. Manager
- To attend and diagnosis faults and fix technical problems on generators and associated control systems
- To plan and supervise work of subordinates, delegate effectively and coach employees towards the attainment of organisational goals and objectives
- To plan and monitor repairs (indoor and outdoor) in a timely manner, effectively and efficiently
- To identify customer needs and issues and use the relevant technology and tools for customer service related processes in order to maintain high quality service and excellence within the company
- To assist the B. U. Manager in ordering of products, receiving of products, monitoring of stock movement, regular inventory control and interim quality checks
- To liaise with Spare Parts Manager concerning spare parts orders and forecast stock needs
- To establish and maintain good relationship with Suppliers
- To demonstrate good communication and interaction skills while dealing and collaborating with other departments.
- To support actual marine after sales service team with trouble shooting on electronic control systems
- To maximise income-generating opportunities through the range of existing activities as well as effectively identifying new sources of income
- To establish training, development and motivation programmes for the staff in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department with a view to increase staff motivation and commitment and to maximise performance at all levels
- To demonstrate the appropriate leadership styles to motivate and empower employees through periods of organisational growth or change
- To ensure that the Department complies with all Occupational Health & Safety measures and statutory rules and regulations
- To plan and prepare annual budget and monitor monthly progress, in collaboration with the B. U. Manager
- To ensure compliance with all legal provisions governing the business unit
- To help expand our client database in the generator sector
Candidate Profile:
- Previous or Past experiences in dealing with generators will be a definite advantage.
- Degree holder/ Certificate or equivalent qualifications
- Proactive and result-oriented
- Customer oriented
- Computer Literate (Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint)
- Proven experience in People Management
- Good communication skills
- Valid driving licence essential
- Strong leadership skills
