We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Officer - Non-Motor Claims to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to Claims Officers and assist in the handling of non-motor claims, ensuring effective claim processing, and adherence to internal policies and regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and high-performance learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Assessment & Processing:
- Review and assess non-motor claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy conditions.
- Evaluate and make decisions on claims that fall under non-motor line of business and keeping in mind customer service deliverables
- Customer Service & Communication:
- Liaise with policyholders, ensuring that claims processes progress smoothly and in a timely manner as per KPI set
- Communicate clearly with insured parties regarding the status of their claims and undertake any necessary actions.
- Operational Process:
- Prioritize and monitor claims processing to ensure efficient turnaround and compliance with company KPI’S.
- Claims Resolution & Compliance:
- Ensure all claims are processed in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and statutory standards.
- Support claims management by providing accurate reports and maintaining proper documentation for all claim-related transactions.
- Claims Leakage Analysis & Risk Mitigation:
- Analyze potential claims leakage and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risk.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar claims handling position, specifically in non-motor claims.
- HSC/Diploma
- In-depth knowledge of non-motor insurance operations and claims handling.
- Strong understanding of insurance contract interpretation, insurance policy terms, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and claims management software.
- Attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering results.
