Technical Assistant

To provide enterprise level assistance to our Clients in the field of Textile Machinery and Equipment. To diagnose and troubleshoot both Software, through the Research and Configuration of Operating Systems, and Hardware problems to ensure the smooth operations of the Equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To provide enterprise level assistance to our Clients in the field of Textile Machinery and Equipment.
2. To diagnose and troubleshoot both Software, through the Research and Configuration of Operating Systems, and Hardware problems to ensure the smooth operations of the Equipment.
3. Follow up with Clients to ensure systems are fully functional after trouble shooting
4. To do regular Machinery and Equipment Commissioning and Servicing at the sites of Clients
5. Prepare accurate and timely reports
6. Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals for organisational knowledge
7. Liaison with Suppliers for to upgrade knowledge on both Software and Hardware
8. Active Technical Research for any trouble shooting

Requirements

1. Degree in Electromechanic or Equivalent from recognized universities or institutions like IVTB
2. Good understanding of Technical Issues
3. Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
4. Excellent Problem-solving and Communication Skills
