Technical Assistant

Veranda Grand Baie Hotel and Spa is looking for passionate and talented candidates to join the Team ! Candidates residing in North, Port Louis, lower/higher Plaine Wilhems or East will be considered.

Candidate's Profile:

Basic theoretical knowledge (secondary level – NTC 3) and/or prior professional experience

Electrician / Plumber / Carpenter / Welder / Painter / Mason with responsibility in maintenance and repair for more than 2 years                                                                                                                 

Working experience in related fielf at least for 1 year                                                                           

Fluent in English and French

Responsibilities: 

Provide maintenance in areas required and attends to repairs effectively and efficiently

Install new electrical equipment/appliances as instructed and as per safety regulations

Check water level and reading of CWA and gaz consumption

Apply decorative and protective finishes to the interior and exterior walls, doors, windows and other surfaces of buildings and equipment, after cleaning and preparing surfaces

Carry out all maintenance, repair services as instructed by superiors and perform regular checks as per standards
