We are searching for a passionate and experienced Tech Lead to join our growing team. As the Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring our developers in a squad , and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software.

Your responsibilities within our Tribe

  • Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications.
  • Responsible to provide high level estimates
  • Break down complex projects into manageable tasks
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to estimate user stories within the scrum team.
  • Understand the priorities and impacts of the squad and product deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and business representatives.
    "Implement and deliver high quality software / components, perform code/design review to ensure adherence to organisational technical standards (availability, scalability, recoverability, reliability, and security)"
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Actively contribute to the software development process by doing hands on debugging,programming,peer programming with developpers
  • Clear roadblocks and impediments for the team
  • Actively manage technical debt
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, including code reviews, technical discussions,root cause analysis and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment where developers can learn and grow.
  • Ensure that the team follows company  best practices and standards and maintains high-quality code.
  • Participate or organise agile ceremonies within the team.
  • Promote actively a devops culture for eg  defining deployment strategies and implementation of continuous deployment
  • Ensures CICD process is applied and includes comprehensive automated testing and security checks
  • Ensure high availability of production platform
  • Co ordinate and manages production incidents to resolution within SLA are met.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the software development field.

 

Your distinctive profile

  • Minimum of an Bachelor's degree and 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience
  • Worked on multiple projects involving complex systems analysis, design and complete application development
  • Experience with Agile Methodology
  • Must be familiar with industry direction
  • An ability to build out products & products enhancements from idea through to launch
  • Skills to collaborate with the entire team and customers on feature requirements and prioritization
  • A team player mindset with an ability to thrive and effectively communicate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment 
  • Excellent technical skills on Java / Open Source
  • Can interpret requirements and can challenge conciseness and definition of requirements. 
  • "Demonstrable 5+ years of solid experience in development a large enterprise environment.
  • Ideally have 3+ years of hands on experience with webservices, microservices."

  • Ensure psycological safety of team to create a collaborative environment.
  • Coaching and mentoring developers & engage and unite the team around common objectives.
  • Proven ability to empower team members & ability to motivate and inspire a development team.
  • Be comfortable in verbal and written communications with your team and manager.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, designers, QA).
