MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition:
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes independently and with the support of an internal sourcing team or external headhunters.
- Publish and promote job vacancies and analyze applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct or assist the hiring manager during interviews (online or in-person), provide hiring advice, and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Analyze and improve the effectiveness of recruitment channels and strategies.
General HR Oversight:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for the management and team, ensuring HR policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
- Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
- Develop and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, employer branding, internal communication, and organizational culture.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and professional manner.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support managers in developing their teams.
- Implement and maintain HR systems and practices that contribute to organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of employment law and ensure compliance with regulations in Mauritius.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology or any other related field.
- 5-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally with a previous recruitment background.
- Experience in providing HR support to both employees and management, ensuring that business needs and employee well-being are balanced.
- Familiarity with recruitment process standards and candidate acquisition tools and methods.
- Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Passion for working with people and developing talent, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Practical knowledge of MS Office, focusing on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in the marketing industry is preferred but not required.
