System and Network Administrator

System and Network Administrator in a leading airline software and service provider.

Your Main Duties:

• Responsible for the Installation, configuration and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Providing effective day-to-day support on hardware and software related issues.
• Performing system and network monitoring and manage scheduled tasks such as backups.
• Implementing and maintaining defined security policies, rules and procedures.
• Processing database administration specific assignments.

Your Profile:

• BSc in Computer Science with network security or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in a similar position
• Quick learner, analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Flexible and ready to go the extra mile for the customers’ needs

Your IT Skills:

• Good practical knowledge of Linux Operating Systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat) and Windows (Desktop & Server)
• Experience in Virtualization(Vmware, Hyper V), network administration, routers, switch, firewalls and VPN
• Script programming (BASH, Python) and automating processes using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other public cloud providers (Microsoft Azure/ Google) shall be an advantage
• Open source tools: GLPI, Zabbix, Nagios
• Experience in Oracle Database Administration
