We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated person to join our team, primarily responsible for the efficient management of our store, ensuring a seamless flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. Other aspects of the role include that of messenger, driver and office attendant

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:

-  Ensure the proper reception, storage, and dispatch of goods.

-  Maintain accurate records of stock levels and manage inventories to prevent shortages.

-  Prepare monthly stock take reports, attend to the physical stock take and reconciliation at the beginning of each month.

-  Prepare manufacturing to ensure minimum stock levels are kept and enter the manufacturing in our system

-  Ensuring proper storage of goods following the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.

  • Quality Assurance: Inspect all incoming and outgoing products to confirm their compliance with specifications.
  • Order Processing:

- Prepare and process order forms for all sales reps.

- Load all deliveries in sales reps vehicles.

  • Safety and Cleanliness:
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the store area, adhering to safety regulations and ensuring all storage areas are well-organized and tidy.
  • Dispose of all rubbish from packaging of imports in outside bins.
  • Keep outdoor area of drums and palette always tidy.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

- Keep accurate records of inventory movements.

- Comply with office procedures and policies for all administrative documentation related to the store

-  Provide weekly reports and checklists.

-  Weekly filing of invoices and other documents.

  • Messenging:

-  Attend to all banking requirements, drop off all banking documentation to various departments, collect any documents from the bank.

-  Attend to all postal requirements.

- Attend to all payments of licences, renewals, car registrations, local purchases etc

- Despatch documents or payments as requested by the admin team.

  • Driver:

-  Assist with deliveries of all orders for Admin and other Prolub clients as required.

-  Collect packaging and local purchases as and when required.

- Drop and collect reps or vehicles for servicing and tyre changes.

  • Office Attendant:

-  Assist the cleaning lady with larger cleaning tasks around the office and front if required.

-  Regular touch up paint around the office.

-   Assist with small maintenance jobs around the office

-  Monthly shopping for office groceries.

-  Purchase and collection of any other related goods for office.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum SC levels required
  • Experience: Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role or warehouse setting.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management
  • Good physical condition and strength.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hard worker and Team player.
  • Can take initiative and work unsupervised.

Working Conditions:

This position involves physical activities including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

The work environment is primarily within the store and warehouse area.
