Store Attendant

Assisting with the general stores function, and ensure the store is kept in a clean and tidy condition.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Adherence to established Store Receipt & Issues procedure.
• Upon receiving of goods, ensure goods are stored correctly in corresponding location and with proper identification labelling.
• Notify superior of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Ensure daily recording of Cold Room temperature.
• Ensure slow moving and short lifetime products are efficiently handle to eliminate obsolescence.
• Participate in Monthly Stocktake.
• Ensure return of ‘Empties’ is done regularly.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to reporting line manager.
• Ensure cleanliness of store.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to HODs and reporting line manager.
• Ensure filling document is done as per procedure.
• Ensure security of workplace before leaving store.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Perform any cognate duties as may be required.
