Stock Controller

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the mining sector and a gemstone producer, is looking for a Stock Controller.

Our client, in the mining sector and a gemstone producer, is looking for a Stock Controller.

The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the office in Mauritius and do the stock control of gemstone.

• Control stock movement (in and out)
• Calibrate the scale and record the weight of the gemstones that is taken out and make sure the same weight is returned.
• Keep record of every one that book out the gemstones.
• Sole responsible in managing the access to the safe.
• Keep record of all the different grades and qualities and the weight of each grade that is in the safe.
• Label all the different grades with the quality, grade and concession number.
• Manage all the finger access to the safe house and the alarm codes.
• Create records of all the people who has request safe openings and safe house access.
• Record and Control of all Assets
• Assist in managing the auctions and the imports and exports of gemstones and equipment.
• Manage the apartment situated in the North
• Fleet Management

Qualification:

• Diploma in Stock Management.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Candidate profile:

• Strong person which can work independently.
• Great self-drive.
• Honest and Reliable
