The Sourcing Support is responsible for executing operational activities within the sourcing teams.

 

Key Attributes and Competencies :
  • Undergraduate degree in management, procurement, or equivalent
  • Fluent in English or other language would be an advantage
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong analytical skills enabling to understand sourcing results, cost models and operational impact for the Company
  • Strategic mindset
  • Project management skills and ability to manage complex cross-country, cross-functional scope
  • Knowledge of procurement processes including negotiation skills, e-auction tools is beneficial
  • Able to work on initiatives and prioritize workload efficiently
  • Embodies the Company's culture and 10 principles
  • Executes with discipline and a sense of urgency
  • Stays focused when faced with change, obstacles and setbacks

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Category Specific

  • PR2PO (where necessary)
  • Lead and execute transactional/quick win sourcing projects
  • Implement contracts for transactional/quick win sourcing projects
  • Manage and approve price adjustments
  • Handle invoicing escalations
  • Maximise value for the Company through each initiative
Sourcing Process
  • Identify internal needs/requirements
  • Explore market and engage suppliers
  • Run RFI/RFP/e-auction/F2F negotiations
  • Review, sign and ensure implementation of negotiated contracts
  • Complete contract termination requests & submit for approval
  • Assure timely contract renewal and manage/plan contract expiration dates
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Understand and follow global & zone governance - policies and procedures
  • Suggest improvement opportunities
  • Drive proper/transparent contracting/purchasing methods
  • Support any procurment specific project (excellence program, sustainability, etc.)
Audit & Compliance
  • Assure compliance to corporate and departmental policies and procedures (internal procurement and external Business units)
  • Oversee the development, updates and continuous improvement of RPSS policies and procedures
  • Establish appropriate audit trails and record retentions as per company requirements
