Sommelier

Responsible for upselling and provide guests services as per standards

We are looking for a Sommelier to join our team at C Beach Club

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and information to clients and restaurant staff on the selection of wine by possessing a thorough knowledge of the menu and all wines on wine list and their prices

• Assist in reviewing wine sales in all outlets on a regular basis
• Inspect all outlets for clean, presentable and updated wine lists
• Assist in conducting wine inventories on a regular basis, together with the Cost Controller and the Food & Beverage Manager
• Keep record of guests’, visitors’ or repeaters’ dietary preferences or special requirements (e.g. allergies)
• Ensure high level of quality services are delivered to guests at all times
• Ensure that all stock deliveries are properly documented and stored to the correct temperature to prevent the minimum wastage
• Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
