Solutions Architect

Responsible for Presales, Solution architecting, project management, implementation & after sales support for all Emtel Business Services.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications or other related discipline

• CCNA required

• Other relevant vendor certifications will be a plus

• 3+ years of networking experience in a similar position

• Experience in advanced Routing, Switching, Network Security, Unified Communication required

• Experience in Presales, Solution Design required

• Experience in Project Management required

• Experience in SD WAN, SDN and NFV technologies will be a plus

• Or any other acceptable qualifications and experience

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and manage solutions that meet the needs of customers

• Project management of complex customer projects

• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting of customer network-related issues as per SLA

• Assist Account Teams by presenting Emtel solutions and their benefits to customers

• Assist Account Teams in collecting customer business and technical requirements.

• Translate customer requirements into robust and cost-effective solutions

• Develop solution architecture and present/propose solution to customers

• Deliver presentations, demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Deliver product training to technical and non-technical audiences

• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs, RFQs and RFPs

• Participate and represent Emtel in events such as conferences, seminars etc …

• Participate in the Research and Development of new products and solutions
