We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer with expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement RPA solutions to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.  

Main accountabilities:

RPA Development & Implementation      

• Design and develop RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Analyse existing workflows to identify areas for automation and process improvement.
• Build, test, and deploy RPA bots to automate repetitive tasks and workflows.

Software Development

• Develop and maintain software applications using programming languages like Python, C#, or Java.
• Integrate RPA tools with existing systems, databases, and APIs.
• Ensure scalable and maintainable code through proper design principles.

Business Analysis & Collaboration           

• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document process requirements.
• Participate in solution design workshops and recommend best practices for automation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless deployment and support of RPA solutions.

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor deployed RPA bots for performance and resolve any issues.
• Perform regular updates to improve bot efficiency and adapt to process changes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of RPA workflows, changes, and configurations.

Testing & Validation

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and defect resolution.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback with stakeholders.
• Document test results and ensure the quality of the final deliverable meets business expectations.

Continuous Improvement 

• Identify and recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mobile banking and software development.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new features and functionalities.
• Contribute to the development of the bank’s long-term technology strategy.

Technical skills / Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Knowledge, Expertise and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one leading RPA tool (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, MongoDB) and web technologies (REST APIs, HTML, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of machine learning or AI integration with RPA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
