Software Developer (Mobile)

Our client the 5th largest global SIM card provider with a portfolio of clients such as Uber is recruiting Mobile Software Developers!

Overview:

Join a global multinational with over 65 years of experience across 15 countries as a Software Developer at their Mauritian office. Work on a variety of challenging projects related to Mobile application development (Android/IOS). They are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn.
  
Responsibilities:
 

• Develop innovative new features: Design based on product specifications, development, testing
  and collaborate with team to deliver features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the applications.
• Ensure deliverables are complete in terms of functionality and meet the required quality level.
• Ensure that source code, related tests, documentation, and release packages are tracked in source control software.
• Provide timely updates on project status.
• Acquire technical knowledge of telecommunication industry standards, emerging technologies, and trends, such as eSIM.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the mobile development ecosystem.

Key Skills and Experience: 
 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in either Android or IOS development
  • Experience with Android Studio, Java or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with Swift, iOS SDK, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Familiarity with the process of creating and shipping apps for iOS (provisioning profiles, certificates, TestFlight, etc)
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Able to work independently while keeping focused and keeping track of your own progress according to plans.
