Responsible for overseeing daily operations on sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

 

Oversee the daily activities of workers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure that work is completed according to specifications and safety guidelines.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to establish project timelines and milestones. Monitor progress against the schedule and report any delays or issues.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.

Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations. Identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.

Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment. Order supplies and materials as needed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, timesheets, incident reports, and progress photographs. Prepare reports for project managers and stakeholders.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site communication. Foster a collaborative environment among workers, management, and clients.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any construction-related challenges that arise on-site, including scheduling conflicts, resource shortages, and unexpected site conditions.

 

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision or management.

 

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
