Key Responsibilities:

• Embraces and promotes brand values while delivering customer care principals.
• Assists in maintaining appearance of facility in professional, clean, and organized manner, consistent with Makita’s brand image, on a daily basis.
• Read and understand repair procedures in Makita’s service manual. Maintain service manual in current status, work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Ability to create, edit, and complete repair and sales invoices in the computer. Prepare tools and part orders for shipment as required.
• Ability to assist in managing parts inventory accurately. Assist in physical inventory.
• Notify customers of repair estimates, completed repairs, and orders ready for pick up.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or Experience: 

NTC4 minimum required.

Entry level position requiring electro / mechanical aptitude

• Language Skills:  

Ability to communicate with customers and department staff.  

Ability to respond to technical inquiries.  

• Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to diagnose basic tool problems and repair small portable, non complex tools. Understands and utilizes basic Makita test equipment.

•  Computer Skills: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills

Employment Requirements – must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment and be able to safely operate power equipment.

Physical Demands - 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

• This position requires ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, or reach.
• May occasionally be required to lift, push, or pull items

Work Environment -

• Able to work in an environment that may be subjected to occasional loud noises and/or hazardous conditions

Hours:

• Mon to Fri > 08h30 - 17h,
• Sat > 08h30 > 13h.
• May be required to do overtime from time to time.
