Service Desk Analyst (Payroll)

Experienced in Excel, the Service Desk Analyst will assist in the design, implementation and testing of configuration changes, testing of service packs, quarterly upgrades and other system updates.

Job Duties

• Assist in the design, implementation and testing of configuration changes
• Assist in the implementation and testing of service packs, quarterly upgrades and other system updates
• Support maintenance of tax tables and setup to ensure compliance with regulations
• Work extensively with functions across the organization and external teams to ensure proper payroll processing  and problem resolution
• Support bi-weekly, monthly and special payroll processing to ensure payroll deadlines are met
• Run ad hoc reports to extract payroll data as needed
• Assist in establishing priorities and meeting project deadlines
• Maintain accurate and sufficient testing documentation 

 Skills, Experience & Attributes

• At least Diploma or a Professional Certification in IT related field
• Ability to work on UK working hours (13hr-22hr Mauritian Time)
• Ability to quickly learn new software
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Proactive and ability to work in teams
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
• Experienced in Excel (Macro, Pivot Tables, VLookups, Data reporting/grouping in Excel)
• Prior knowledge of Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools etc) and in data analysis processes will be an advantage
• Prior working knowledge of Salesforce classic will be an advantage.
