Under the supervision of the Customer Sales Manager, the Service Associate – Customer Sales Agent provides the highest level of service to promote customer satisfaction and retention while optimizing booking opportunities in accordance with Shangri-La procedures.
As a Service Associate- Customer Sales Agent, we rely on you to:
•Have good knowledge about the room product and to effectively differentiate room types to match the right product with specific guest needs.
•Be fully conversant with the hotel’s rate structure particularly on public rate offers and to highlight the ‘unique perceived value(s)’ of an offer during the selling process.
•Demonstrate good understanding of the facilities and services offered by the hotel and take every opportunity to promote these to bookers.
•Be prompt and proficient in handling and processing all reservations from the various distribution channels and avoid incurring any backlog.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
•Higher School Certificate
•At least 1-2 years experience in Reservation, Revenue Management or Front Office (call-center/hotel experience would be an advantage).
•Computer literate.
•Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
•Good customer care and selling skills.
