About the role:

We are looking for a Senior UI Designer to join the Websites Squad in the Marketing Operations team. In this role you will bring designs and components to life for our different types of websites (Countries websites, Academy Websites and Jobs websites). You will structure and further professionalize our central website design system and component library. In this role, you will have the chance to continuously learn and to use the newest technologies. You will have the opportunity to work with international stakeholders with different expertise. Your work will have a direct impact on thousands of daily visitors of the websites of SD Worx.

Which tasks can you expect?

• Website design system / Component library: To have qualitative consistency and efficiency through the different projects and to facilitate the work of the developers, you will manage and maintain the website design system/component library.
• User Interface Design: By leveraging the website design system and component library, and considering stakeholder needs, usability, accessibility, and other factors, you craft visually appealing and cohesive user interface designs. If needed, you create low-fidelity sketches and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and test user flows.
• UI Governance You are responsible for the processes and the workflows for the UI designs from the briefing moment until it’s delivery to the functional analyst and developers. You attend the necessary agile ceremonies to improve our processes and results.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Daily, you will work in close collaboration with the Functional Analysts, the Channel Owner and the development team. When needed, you will also work directly with the marketing or business stakeholders. You will also work closely with the Central UX/UI team that manages the central design system of SD Worx.

What do you have to offer?

• You have an advanced knowledge of Figma, and experience with managing design systems and scalable components.
• You keep yourself up to date with the last UX/UI trends and evolutions.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as UX/UI Designer
• You are pro-active, open-minded, agile, detailed oriented and have a constructive mindset
• You are structured and good in time management
• You like to work in an international team and to take the ownership of a project/process
