We are looking for a Senior Trust Administrator to manage the administration of a portfolio comprising trusts, Global Business Companies (GBCs), and Mauritian domestic companies. A working knowledge of compliance processes would be a strong advantage.
A reputable management company located in the north of Mauritius, offering a full range of corporate, trust, and fiduciary services to an international client base. Has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Trust Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration of a portfolio comprising trusts, Global Business Companies (GBCs), and Mauritian domestic companies. A working knowledge of compliance processes would be a strong advantage.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in trust and corporate administration in the Mauritian financial services sector.
- Solid understanding of the administration of trusts, GBCs, and domestic companies in Mauritius.
- Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing global business and trust structures in Mauritius.
- Basic experience or understanding of compliance, AML/CFT, and risk assessment procedures.
- Proficiency in company secretarial duties and ROC filings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts, GBCs, and domestic companies.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure timely filings with the Registrar of Companies and other regulators.
- Draft and review trust documents, board resolutions, minutes, and other legal documentation.
- Liaise with clients, banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure that all entities under administration are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist with due diligence reviews, onboarding of new clients, and periodic compliance monitoring.
- Support the compliance function in implementing AML/CFT procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management and clients.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in implementing best practices within the team.
