As a Senior Receptionist, you will be at the forefront of creating exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing key front desk operations, supporting the reception team, and delivering seamless, luxury service that aligns with the prestigious standards of RIU Hotels & Resorts.
💼 What You’ll Do

Ensure Smooth Front Desk Operations: Oversee daily reception activities, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and handling inquiries, ensuring flawless execution.

Provide Memorable Guest Experiences: Deliver personalized, professional, and efficient service to all guests, making them feel valued and cared for throughout their stay.

Support and Guide the Reception Team: Assist in training and mentoring junior receptionists, ensuring they meet the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.

Handle Complex Guest Requests: Manage escalated inquiries and complaints with poise and efficiency, resolving issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.

Coordinate with Hotel Departments: Liaise with housekeeping, reservations, and other teams to meet guest needs and enhance operational efficiency.

Assist with Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, including reservation details, guest preferences, and billing, ensuring precision and compliance with hotel policies.

Professional Experience: Proven experience in a receptionist role within a five-star hotel or luxury resort, with the ability to handle a variety of guest scenarios.

Strong Organizational Abilities: Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction.

Proficiency in Systems: Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and front office processes.

Team Leadership: Ability to support and inspire the reception team to excel, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Problem-Solving Expertise: Calm under pressure, with the ability to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a luxury hospitality setting.
