Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the Senior Purchasing Lead will play a critical role in managing all aspects of procurement and supply chain operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery in the medical device supply chain.

Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance, to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.

Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing process efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing purchasing team.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

MBA or relevant certification is a plus.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on the medical device industry.

Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Leadership experience with a track record of motivating and developing teams.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device sector is highly desirable.
