Summary of role
The Senior Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for leading the recruitment and hiring process for the organization. This role involves managing the full recruitment life cycle, collaborating with hiring managers, and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain highly qualified candidates.
Role and Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:
Identify staffing needs and work with Hiring Managers to create job descriptions and hiring plans.
Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to attract top talent.
Conduct initial candidate assessments, screen resumes, and review applications to shortlist candidates.
Manage the interview process, coordinating with hiring managers and conducting interviews when necessary.
Oversee the candidate selection process and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
Talent Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and implement effective candidate evaluation and assessment methodologies.
Administer and interpret assessment tools, tests, and interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, competencies, and cultural fit.
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all hiring practices
Employer Branding and Talent Pipeline:
Coordinate campus recruitment activities; including information sessions and presentations, on-campus interviews, career events, projects, etc.
Cultivate and manage relationships with potential candidates and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Use recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports on recruitment activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices in recruitment.
Build strong relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies and job boards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 –3 years relevant work experience in Talent Acquisition
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Good understanding of data protection laws and recruitment processes
Experience in recruitment analytics would be an advantage
