Which tasks can you expect?
You will be mainly responsible for the below list of tasks:
- Refactoring existing code in accordance with new standards
- Writing code and libraries that can be re-used in our various web applications
- Feasibility analysis of UI/UX requests
- Optimisation of applications to ensure maximum processing speed
- Working with the back-end team on the different APIs
- Collaborate with product/QA/Ops and project teams
- Writing technical documentation
- Actively participate in technical design workshops
Expectations, Experiences & Knowledge
Because of the critical nature of this role, we can only consider candidates who can demonstrate that they meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in JavaScript or TypeScript
- 3 years of experience on Angular 2+ would be an advantage
- Minimum of 4 years of experience on HTML/CSS (Sass)
- Well versed with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Excellent knowledge on HTML5/CSS3 and SASS
- Experience in using JEST for testing
- Good technical skills on Git & GitLab (merge request/review)
- Comfortable working with Rest API, Rxjs, Bootstrap
- Sensitive to UX/Accessibility issues
- Excellent English-written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Good team player & willing to train and coach juniors
