Are you an experienced professional in fiduciary services with a strong background in trust administration? A well-established Management Company based in the North of Mauritius is looking for a Senior Client Administrator.

 

Are you an experienced professional in fiduciary services with a strong background in trust administration? A well-established Management Company based in the North of Mauritius is looking for a Senior Trust Administrator to oversee a portfolio of international and domestic Trusts, along with related structures such as GBCs and domestic entities.

Qualifications required:

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Management or a related field.

  • STEP or ICSA qualification (completed or in progress) is highly desirable.

Skills and Experience required:
  • Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in trust and corporate administration within a Management Company or fiduciary services environment.

  • Sound knowledge of the Mauritius Financial Services framework, especially as it relates to Trusts and Global Business.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex structures with attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with trust and company administration software is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a portfolio of local and international Trusts, Foundations, and related corporate entities (GBCs and domestic companies).

  • Act as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring exceptional client service.

  • Draft and review trust deeds, resolutions, minutes, and other statutory documents.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.

  • Assist with the onboarding of complex structures, performing due diligence and risk assessment in line with AML/CFT guidelines.

  • Mentor and support junior team members and contribute to process improvements within the department.

  • Liaise with legal advisors, tax consultants, banks, regulators, and auditors as needed.
