Maintain safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Terragri (Agriculture) Ltd is looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate to fulfil the role of Security Officer.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Customer relationship management – be the first point of contact at the security gatehouse for staff and visitors by providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure all telephone enquiries are handled professionally and timely
- Patrolling, Controlling & Monitoring of property and assets
- Reporting – all incidents of security breaches to the Chief Security Officer and/or to the Area Manager
- To record and maintain accurate logbooks in relation to all security matters.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of Higher School Certificate or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid motorcycle license/private car or others will be an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Dynamic, organized and motivated
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Well versed with day/night shift systems
- Dogs handling ability (for patrols)
- Good knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
