We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directly engaging with customers to secure orders, follow up on outstanding orders, plan deliveries, and ensure timely payment collection. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-focused approach to drive sales and maintain customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Order Acquisition:
- Visit customers on-site to present products and services.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Facilitate order placement and ensure accuracy in order details.
Order Management and Follow-Up:
- Monitor the status of outstanding orders and proactively follow up with customers to address any issues or delays.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that orders are processed and shipped on schedule.
- Resolve any discrepancies or problems related to orders promptly.
Delivery Planning:
- Work with logistics and warehouse teams to schedule timely delivery of products.
- Communicate delivery timelines and any changes to customers effectively.
- Ensure that delivery schedules align with customer expectations and business capabilities.
Payment Collection and Account Management:
- Follow up on overdue payments and ensure that customers meet their payment obligations.
- Manage and track customer accounts to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions.
- Address any payment-related inquiries or issues in a professional manner.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Gather feedback from customers and report insights to the management team for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a field-based capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for customer visits.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Capable of lifting and carrying product samples or promotional materials as needed.
