Job Overview:
The Salesperson is responsible for engaging with customers, promoting products and services, and ensuring an exceptional experience at our facility. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to achieve sales targets. Moreover, the Salesperson needs to identify a customer’s needs, pitching relevant products or services and ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they reach Vallée till they leave.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product/ Service Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of all activities, attractions, and experiences offered at Vallée.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines for each activity.
- Ability to explain in detail the features and benefits of each product or service offered.
- Awareness of current promotions, discounts, and special offers available to customers.
- Stay updated on any changes or updates to activities, services, or facilities within Vallée.
- Ability to address specific questions about the features, requirements, and logistics of each activity or service.
- Provide accurate information regarding booking procedures, cancellation policies, and refund processes.
2. Customer Interaction:- Greet and welcome customers with a warm smile.
- Understand customer backgrounds and previous visits to provide personalized service.
- Address customer queries and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Ensure customer safety during activities and interactions with animals.
- Meet with clients after their activities for feedback.
- Establish trust relationships with customers.
3. Sales and Booking:- Assist customers in booking activities and taking reservations.
- Upsell premium services such as cinematic experiences, fine dining, and special packages.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets within designated timelines.
- Verify bills using digital tools and explain refund policies.
- Follow up with customers regarding their overall experiences in the Park and the restaurants.
- Upselling products and services that we provide.
- Guide the customers during the whole booking process.
4. Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated on industry best practices and promotional trends.
- Collaborate with marketing and food and beverage teams to promote exclusive offers.
- Keep informed about changes within the park and restaurant operations.
- Seek feedback to improve service delivery continuously.
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless guest experiences.
5. Ad Hoc Responsibilities:- Monitor weather conditions to adjust activity recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workplace.
- Assist in other duties as needed.
- Communicate any pertinent issues to department heads promptly.
- To be versatile; performing seamlessly any unrelated tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:- 5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Fluent communication skills in both French and English.
- Excellent customer-facing skills with a strong team orientation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate or commute as required.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Physically fit for performing tasks.
- Ability to adapt to various roles and challenges.
