Sales Support Assistant
Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Sales Support Assistant will be responsible in providing operational support for our sales processes, ensuring accuracy in order management, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
•Accurately take, process and validate customer orders, ensuring correct details are entered into the system.
•Respond to customer queries promptly, offering accurate and clear information
•Follow up with clients on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections and addressing any payment issues
•Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports related to order and calls status, payments, and outstanding tasks
•Ensure the release of orders upon confirmation of payment, coordinating with relevant departments as needed
•Work closely with the weighbridge officer and delivery teams to manage the return feed process effectively
Qualification and Profile
•Holder of a Higher School Certificate
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales support, order management, or customer service is preferred.
•Proficiency with order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
•Past experience in a call centre will be a definite advantage
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Dynamic, detail-conscious and well organized
•Result oriented and a strong problem-solving abilities
•Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
