Sales & Procurement Officer

Scope 

The Sales and Procurement officer shall perform a wide variety of professional level sales and procurement duties including organisation, acquisition of goods and services, planning, supplier management, coordination and ensuring to follow correct procedures and policies; prepare quotations / order confirmations and follow-up of orders; performs related duties as assigned. He/She shall establish relationships and serve as a representative of the company building vendor and consumer trust. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Source, analyse and compare prices and services of required products
• Prepare sales quotations/POs/follow up of orders and invoicing within time frame
• Assist customers with all inquiries, account set ups and upgrades, to find the best products/services as per their needs
• Maintaining good relations with both suppliers and customers
• Preparing purchase orders, soliciting bid proposals and reviewing requisitions for goods and services
• Maintaining accurate records of sales , purchases, pricing and other important data
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure proper ordering and delivery to clients
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints

• Diploma / Degree holder (Sales/Purchasing / Management/Logistics) with Min 2 years experience
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and track multiple processes
• Computer Savvy with a working knowledge of supply chain management software (ERP)
• Good organisational and coordination abilities
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English/French)
• Participate in teams projects
• Knowledge of international trade or supply chain
