Sales Officer (2410-SOFF)

Our client, a well-established international art gallery is seeking to recruit a full time Sales Officer to work in one of the galleries in the North.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with gallery maintenance and art installations.
• Retail store opening and closing duties.
• Memorise artists' collections, gallery media and pricing.
• Retail merchandising and display.
• Inventory management.
• Planning and hostings of events, such as art exhibitions, in order to meet with prospective buyers.
• Attend and assist at gallery events.
• Custom problem-solving to meet client needs.

Profiles:

• HSC with at least 2 years' experience in a sales position.
• Delivering the best solutions to meet client needs and lifestyle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Enthusiastic, mature, engaging, motivated, honest and dependable.
• Hardworking and motivated.
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Exceptional strong customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstration of professional sales techniques is a plus.
• Knowledgeable of arts trends, artistic techniques and features is a plus.
• Candidate should possess a valid driving license and his own vehicle.
