The Sales Officer will be mainly responsible for responding to customers request through quotes and Request for Proposals.

The Sales Officer will be mainly responsible for responding to customers request through quotes and Request for Proposals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify Potential Clients: Develop strategies to connect and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Promote and Sell Products/Services: Use knowledge of IT products and services to demonstrate benefits to potential customers.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate sales contracts and agreements to finalize sales.
- Meet Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Market Research: Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Reporting: Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer complaints and queries.
- Client Account Management: Manage client accounts, ensuring payments are made and liaising with the finance department as necessary.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications & Competencies Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Officer or similar role in IT sales.
- Strong knowledge of IT products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics.
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
