To assist all stewarding activities ensuring the objectives are met and that the food and beverage operations can function efficiently and by providing the highest standard of cleanliness according to hotel procedures.
- Assists other members of the stewarding brigade in ensuring that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
- Ensures all kitchen area clean as the standard of cleanliness.
- Ensures kitchen utensil, equipment are clean, prepared and secured Hygienically and safely.
- Maintains standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas.
- Checks all stewarding procedures ensuring that procedures are correctly followed.
- Reports any engineering defects to immediate supervisors.
- Performs additional duties as directed by supervisors.
- Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
- Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and grooming
- Is polite and professional in any situation.
- Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.
